I Was Tagged!

I was tagged to share information on my current Work in Progress by these two amazing authors, Jerrie Alexander http://www.jerriealexander.com/category/blog/
and Hywela Lyn.  http://hywelalyn.blogspot.com/

Stop by their place and say hello!

Q. What is your working title of your book?
A. Beyond Tomorrow

Q. Where did the idea come from for the book?
A.  Beyond Tomorrow is the third (and final) book in the Riley’s Journey series.  I’ve added a few new surprises this time.  This is how I vision Hawk to look.

 Q. What genre does your book fall under?
A. Paranormal (time travel) romance.

Q. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
A.  Jason Mamoa and Moon Bloodgood. I've put a picture here of Jason Mamoa just because he is so hot!

Q. What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?
A.  Black ops troop struggles to survive against the brutal and cannibalistic Cro-Magnons.

A. Q. Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
A.  Neither.  I’m under contract to offer this book to the e-publisher who published Into the Savage Dawn.

Q. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?
A.  Probably a year or more.  I work full time so it is hard for me to write every day.

Q. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?
A. Sort of Clan of the Cave Bear, except my series, Riley’s Journey, Into the Savage Dawn and now Beyond Tomorrow deal with a  black ops team that travels back 40,000 years and their trials and tribulations of survival.

Q. Who or what inspired you to write this book?
A. I saw a release on TV (Discovery Channel) about the discovery of the Ice Age man in the Alps.  I was in the process of coming up with a new story and that piqued my interest.

Q. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?
A.  The series deals with modern man’s successes and failures as they struggle to overcome almost impossible odds in an environment totally unlike anything they’ve encountered before.

P.L. Interesting post and thanks for the picture of Jason. He's to HOT for words. Even his voice is sexy!

I've read the first two books in this series and loved them both! They were heart pounding, great characters, and exciting romances.

Much luck and many sales with the next installment. I can't wait.

Fascinating post Patsy, and I agree, that picture of Jason is fantastic.
Love hearing more about your books,I did think there was a hint of a 'Clan of the Cavebear' sort of feel to the 'Riley's Journey books, without being too similar.

Good luck with 'Beyond Tomorrow', I'm sure it will be a wonderful story, as all yours are!
