With Just The Push of One Button! #scifi #scifiromance #adventureromance #historicalfiction #plparker

I have to tell you, January has been a chaotic month for me.  So many things to do - republish my Star Brides Series (The Chalice, Breeder Slave, Abaddon Rising and Requiem), putting the finishing touches on Saffron (The Chimeras) and finally, for all of my Time Warriors Series fans (fka Riley's Journey Series), on Wednesday, February 1, with just a push of the button, I will publish the fourth in the Time Warriors Series - THE SANCTUARY!  Let me tell you, revisiting a series after so many years had it's issues. I had to practically reread all three of the books just to make sure I had the characters right - live and dead ones.  Wouldn't do to have a dead person show up.  Anyway, I 'got 'er dun' as the saying goes.  I hope you enjoy this sequel!

Blurb:

The compound provided a much-needed sanctuary for the battle-weary tribe, but the allure of the Americas is just too great to resist. The tribe would be sailing soon and with them would go Bree’s last hope of freedom from her nemesis, Yejun. The departure is complicated by the continuous threat of attack from the brutal and predatory Cros, but no matter what, Bree is going with the tribe when they set sail, even if she has to swim behind and the warrior, Kitch, seems to be her best chance.

My best!

Travel Back in Time - 40,000 Years! Would You Go? #timetravel #romance #ancienthistory #plparker

I've often wondered, if given the chance, would I step through a portal and travel back in time.  I think I'd have to vote "no" unless I could be assured it wasn't a one-way trip. Might be nice to visit different times and get a glimpse of life in the distant past, but to stay there? I don't think so! Call me lazy, but I like the conveniences of today. I like taking a bath every day. I like having a stove, fridge, TV, computer, cell phone. Yes, I like living in these times. But again, I would consider a tour of the past if I was guaranteed that I could return.

The RILEY'S JOURNEY TRILOGY is premised on people who step through a portal and travel back 40,000 years.  Unfortunately, it is a one-way trip, and life at the end of the last great Ice Age isn't a walk in the park.

So, travel back with me, 40,000 years ago and let your imagination run wild. After all, it is a two-way journey for you.

The RILEY'S JOURNEY TRILOGY - RILEY'S JOURNEY, INTO THE SAVAGE DAWN and BEYOND TOMORROW!

Travel Back 40,000 Years - The Riley's Journey Trilogy

They stepped through the portal and traveled back 40,000 years. The Riley's Journey Trilogy: Riley's Journey, Into the Savage Dawn and Beyond Tomorrow. Each just $.99 on Amazon.

Riley's Journey Blurb:  The research project was only for an "extended period." No one said anything about forever! Deceived and betrayed, Riley is sent back 40,000 years to be the mate of a man she’d never before met. Her journey will take her into a world fraught with dangers—a world made more treacherous by savage beasts, primitive Neanderthals, and the incursion of the aggressive Cro-Magnon man.

Into the Savage Dawn Blurb: Sent back 40,000 years to the ends of the last great Ice Age, the time travelers embark on a journey of survival and discovery. The brutal and cannibalistic Cro-Magnons discover the small band and attack. Forced to flee from their high mountain encampment, the tribe heads into the dawn, towards the Pacific Ocean and their dream of ultimately reaching North America. Geena and Micah are left behind to lead the Cros away from the escaping tribe. When he is killed, she finds herself terribly alone. Severely injured and without hope or resources, she nonetheless is determined to survive and find the people. Survival of the fittest - that is the law of primordial earth.

Beyond Tomorrow Blurb:  The vicious and predatory Cros are amassing in ever growing numbers in the foothills above the travelers’ temporary encampment. Facing inevitable attack, the tribe hastens to prepare for the last leg of their journey—the perilous voyage across the Bering Strait to the shores of the Americas. But time is in short supply.
Kidnapped by a band of marauding Cros, Rachel’s fate as a slave is preordained. Females are few, the tribeswomen the ultimate prize and better off dead the reality. But fate is capricious and unsettled. When the savage warrior, Hawk, overpowers her captors and takes her for his own, Rachel’s destiny takes a new direction.

New Beginnings - Cover art for Into the Savage Dawn

Working on getting this self-published thing going for Into the Savage Dawn, Beyond Tomorrow and Will o' the Wisp (due to closing of Willow Moon Publishing).  Stevie De Taranto is my cover artist and this is the new cover we have come up with for Into the Savage Dawn.  I love it!  Really sets out what the story is about.

Will send more news as the new covers are drafted.
