WAHOO! 5+ Star Review from N.N. Light's Book Heaven #nnlight #bookreview #scifi #romance

So very excited!  N.N. Light's Book Heaven's review of SAGE. 5+ Stars!

"...The world-building is spectacular. It’s difficult to write a world that is both familiar and post-apocalyptic. This is what P.L. Parker excels at. Her gift for building her world through words is on display here. If you want to get lost in a post-apocalyptic world, you’ll dive into Sage with ease..."

IT'S HERE! Book 4 in The Chimeras Series - SAGE #romance #scifi #dystopian #alieninvasion

So very excited!  SAGE, Book 4 in The Chimeras Series is now available on Amazon.

Blurb:

The invasion of an alien race known as the Friem has left humanity cowering in fear and hiding in underground bunkers as the invaders ravage the planet. The surviving humans are hunted to be used as slave labor, and those who fight are killed. For what remains of the resistance, resources are slim and time is running out.

Like all of her half sisters, Sage was genetically enhanced for the fight against the Friem. Bred to be a warrior, she’s tough, bitchy, and mean, and there isn’t a damn person on the planet who can best her in a fight. A law unto herself, she gives little thought to what people think of her because if something needs doing, she knows she’s the one they call. The only person she really needs is herself, until Gideon enters the picture.  As the only pilot around who can provide the training she needs, she’ll do whatever it takes to work with him. When playing nice to get what she wants subtly changes to something more, will Sage let him in? Or will this tough-as-nails warrior fight those feelings to the bitter end?

Want to Win Print Books? First Three Books in Chimera Series! #scifi #romance #dystopian #adventure #alieninvasion

Want to win the first three books in the Chimeras Series?  Print books no less of Saffron, Poppy and Ginger. Of course you do.  Here is the only rule - you have to live in the continental United States so I don't have to sell my oldest son to pay postage.

All you have to do is send an email to me at plparker92@yahoo.com and say "I Want to Win!"  When I have picked the winner, I will contact that person and ask for their mailing address (which I would never give out to anyone else).

Hope to see your entries! Let the best man or woman win.

Patsy.

Another 5 Star Review for GINGER on Amazon! #ginger #plparker #scifi #scifiromance #dystopian

Another 5 Star Review for GINGER on Amazon!  Thank you Cara Bristol:

"In book 3 of this post-apocalyptic sci-fi romance series, Ginger and her genetically enhanced sisters, who’ve been living in an abandoned installation in Colorado, are trekking to Montana after their hideaway is discovered and invaded by the alien Friems. They going to meet up with a military group intending to fight the Friems and take back Earth. But along the way, the sisters’ convoy is attacked by alien drones, and Ginger runs off, luring the drones away, saving most of her people."  Cara Bristol

Another 5 Star Review for Poppy! I'm Loving It! #alieninvasion #scifi #scifiromance #romance #plparker

Another 5 star review for Poppy:

"This is a great post-apocalyptic sci-fi romance series. Earth’s population was all but wiped out by the Friems, terrifying aliens. Bands of survivors have taken refuge wherever they can find it. Jackers, lowlife human scum, prey on the survivors, often working for the Friems.
...
Fantastic worldbuilding. Great characters.
This is an awesome series. Start at the beginning with Saffron. (All the sisters are named after spices)." Reviewed May 9 by Cara Bristol.

Sage is Coming! Book 4 in the Chimeras Series! #dystopian #alieninvasion #romance #scifi #adventure

She's coming! SAGE, Book 4 in the Chimeras series.  She's the warrior. The protector. But most times she's just a pain in the ass. Brash, determined, uncontrollable. A man's woman. Look for her soon!

30,500+ Words on Sage - Book 4 in the Chimeras #alieninvasion #dystopian #scifi #adventure

It's always satisfying to pass that 30,000 mark.  My Chimeras series are all in the 50,000 to 55,000 range so hitting he 30,500 mark is a milestone.  I've reached that in Book 4 of The Chimeras series: Sage.

Sage is the warrior. Tough, resilient and self-serving, but along comes Gideon, a guy she can't seem to love and leave. What's with that?

I hope to have this book ready by late spring/early summer, so look for it.  In the meantime, if you like scifi/action/alien invasion, you might try the first three books in the series: Saffron, Poppy and Ginger.

Reaching a Personal Goal! #scifi #scifiromance #romance #plparker #alieninvasion

We all have goals, and none of them are the same for the most part.  My goal is to finish all six books in my Chimeras series.  I have already published SAFFRON and POPPY, and I'm almost finished with the third in the series, GINGER.

The Chimeras are genetically engineered females. They are faster, stronger, with keen intellect, eyesight and hearing, and they were bred to lead humanity's fight for survival after the alien invasion.

Each girl has her special abilities, engineered by their birth mother and the sperm of a chosen male, one with superior intelligence in his given field. Saffron is a born leader, Poppy a healer, Ginger a teacher, Sage the warrior, Anise the computer brainiac and, lastly, Thyme, born with a combination of all the abilities of her older sisters.

I've had a good time writing these stories.  So many ideas keep popping into my head for each girl, and I'm using my less-than-brainiac mind to keep track of those ideas.

I hope you will take the time to read SAFFRON's story and, perhaps, it will tantalize you enough to keep reading.

Because I'm a Scifi Nut and Its on My Bucket List! #scifi #scifiromance #alieninvasion #paranormal #area51

.

Hey Everyone!

Like all of you, I have my bucket list, and this fall, I just might get to check another one off.  I've always wanted to visit Roswell, New Mexico, and in October, my oldest son and I are going to make the journey south and see what this place is all about. I'm excited.  We plan to take the RV simply because now that I'm fostering my son's two dogs as well as my own two, it would be too expensive to board them.  Of course, the cost of gas might preclude this trip but we're hopeful that by October, gas prices will be down enough that we can afford to go.

Another of my bucket list hopefuls is to travel to northern Alaska or Greenland and see the Northern Lights.  I know sometimes we get glimpses in Idaho, but those are few and far between and I've never been fortunate enough to witness this phenomena.  Someday I want to do this.

I also want to visit Scotland and parts of England. At my age, I should do this soon before I can't.

What's on your bucket list?

Patsy

5+ Stars from N.N. Light's Book Heaven for my Novel POPPY #scifi #scifiromance #alieninvasion #adventure

5+ stars for review of POPPY from N.N. Light's Book Heaven. So pleased!

"...The descriptive narration works hand-in-hand with the world-building. There’s a feeling of desperation throughout the narration. There’s also an undercurrent of isolation as each character comes to grips with whatever is happening. Each scene is described vividly so the reader feels the stark emotions and tension..." N.N. Light's Book Heaven.
